Robert Orszagn was working with Captain Kopat, vice secretary of the Neutral Nations Supervisory Commission (NNSC) in his office. About 8:30am, he went to the Checkpoint 4 and signaled his intention to defect to SGT Hakes. He wanted to go to the US. In accordance with the International laws, he came to the US as an exile. |
